How is the Asset Management System (AMS) different to the asset function in the Business Core?

The AMS allows a much more granular breakdown of each asset you own. This includes the proportion of the materials (metal, wood, fabric, organic) the asset is made up of.

How does the more detail help with Asset Management?

Having greater visibility of each asset and the quantity of each material it is made up of allows you to unlock value in several ways:

Identifying upcycling opportunities for partner organisations looking for materials to input into their processes.
To work out the value of an asset or a group of assets if recycled.
Select different assets that have materials that last longer and/or are easier to reuse and recycle.
Much more detailed compliance and reporting on sustainability goals

Is the AMS better for businesses with lots of different assets?

No, the AMS can be used for a single asset stream and then be expanded to cover other assets’ lifecycles you want to make more circular.

Should I get both business core and Asset Manager to start?

It’s up to you, but we would recommend you start by using one or the other, then try the other option you haven’t selected. If you need more efficiency with your administration, we recommend Business Core first. If you want to dive into making an asset more circular, the AMS would be the place to start.

Our company collects I.T E waste from corporate business, our team collects the assets and verifies & records items through Perfect Circles reporting mobile APP (No paper work) and syncs this information live to our Project Team in office.
